Founded in Canada in 1995 by two Canadians, Giolong International now has a team of 60 employees working at our offices in four cities: Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Montreal.

Over the years, we have helped many Canadian manufacturing and service firms confront the challenges of Asian competition. Our clients, decision makers and managers of small, medium and large-size firms, have benefited from our expertise and successfully implemented their Asian projects.

Our Success: A Proven Formula

Key factors contributing to our success:

• We have our own local employees in Canada and in China, led by an on-site Canadian management team (as opposed to a network of collaborators, affiliated partners or local subcontractors);
• Giolong does not receive any financial or material benefits from Asian manufacturers. This allows us to maintain complete independence and impartiality. We work in Asia for our Canadian clients, with an emphasis on total transparency;
• We eliminate all agents, resellers, brokers or other middlemen who could come between our clients and their Asian suppliers or partners;
• We invest in employee training and continuous evaluation;
• Our formula lets us serve companies with previous experience in Asia, as well as those that are just beginning;
• We have invested in a secure international computer system that is highly effective and constantly updated. With this system, we have a private network that protects client data and confidentiality;
• Since 2006, we are partners of the Groupement des chefs d’entreprises du Québec, a Quebec business owners’ mutual aid network. This recognition is a guarantee of the quality of our services.
